METHODOLOGY — HOW DATA EARNS ITS DATE
How every plan on this site earns its verification date.
● SOURCE HIERARCHY
- 01 Official telco websites — the plan page itself, captured at access time.
- 02 Dated news / launch articles — used when an official page doesn't state a field (e.g. FUP thresholds), with the article date recorded.
- 03 Community reports — never used for launch data; possible future tier with clear labelling.
● WHAT "VERIFIED" MEANS HERE
- ▸ Every plan row carries a verified_at date — the day a human (or the research pipeline) confirmed the data against its source URL.
- ▸ Every row carries a source URL — you can click through and check us.
- ▸ Fields the source does not state are marked "not disclosed" — never guessed, never estimated.
- ▸ Prices are exact as published, not "from RM X" marketing figures.
● FRESHNESS CYCLE
Plans are re-verified on a monthly cycle (97 plans and 60 add-ons across 11 operators as of the last sweep). When a telco changes a price, FUP or plan, the row is updated with a new verification date — the old value is never silently edited.
● INDEPENDENCE
This site is independent and not affiliated with any telco. Rankings and comparisons are driven by data, not partnerships. We don't accept payment for favourable placement.
